As soon as I heard about SEEN hair products, I knew we had to test them out. Dr. Iris Rubin, the founder of SEEN, is a Harvard-trained dermatologist who noticed something missing in the world of haircare. Haircare designed with skin in mind. Indeed, it’s too often that I look at a shampoo ingredient list and find something amiss. Either I find something like bad for the hair, like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, or it’s got pore-clogging ingredients that are no good for my acne-clients! Well, Dr. Rubin has solved this problem by creating SEEN hair products. Now that my team has been using SEEN for a while, I wanted to bring a SEEN Haircare review to my readers! About SEEN Haircare
Dr. Rubin, as a dermatologist, noticed patients dealing with breakouts and struggling to get to the root of the issue. After personally getting breakouts after salon visits, Dr. Rubin did some sleuthing and research. The culprit turned out to be hair products lingering on her skin. So, she set out to solve the problem by creating SEEN!
If you can’t tell by now, I’m a big fan of SEEN. After months of using them regularly, I firmly believe Dr. Rubin succeeded in her goal. Chiefly, there are two immediate reasons for that. First, each finished formula gets tested to ensure that it is non-comedogenic. This is extremely important since some ingredients can mix and become pore-clogging together. Second, SEEN just leaves my hair and scalp feeling fabulous. Each time I wash my hair feels like a wonderful visit to my hairdresser who uses premium products.

One of the other great things about SEEN is that each product comes in two varieties: scented or fragrance-free! Blow-Out Creme & Curly Creme
Of course, Dr. Rubin didn’t settle for just creating amazing shampoo and conditioner! She also formulated two styling products. First, Blow-Out Creme helps style hair and protect it from heat and UV damage. Second, Curly Creme defines and enhances curls beautifully. By all means, these would be fantastic styling products without any additional considerations. However, when you keep in mind that each formula is one hundred percent non-comedogenic, it becomes apparent just how impressive these cremes are.

I’m not positive exactly what why, but Ben’s experience has also been common. As you can guess, SEEN is a great shampoo for dandruff-prone scalps. All in all, I would say it has something to do with how gentle the formula is. As I have mentioned before, harsh surfactants can irritate sensitive skin. SEEN’s surfactants respect your skin and don’t strip it of its natural oils.
